     Tom Edwards makes his home in St. Augustine, FL. Tom has two adult children--a son & daughter, eight grandchildren & a great grandson . Tom was born and raised as a Roman Catholic. In 1974, Tom resigned from his management position in retail to answer a call to full-time ministry. This step soon evolved into an international mobile outreach of lay Catholic evangelization with an emphasis on the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. His conference speaking, retreats, and the presentation of the Journey into Scripture Parish Mission has been widely received throughout the United States, Belize, England, Wales, Canada, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Kazakhstan, Jamaica, Trinidad, Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Asia, Brazil, and South Africa. Tom’s goal is always to bring the Word of God alive and applicable to one’s life today.

MUSIC MINISTRY: 
     Philip Militante is a gifted singer & worship leader. Many years ago, God brought about his conversion, using music as a catalyst. As he grew in his love for God, he joined a religious order called the Brotherhood of Hope. Here he grew in love of God and anointing in worship. He left the Brotherhood after discerning that his vocation was not to live as a religious. He and the love of his life, Rebecca married in 1999 and live with their 3 sons in Jacksonville, FL.
     Music has always been an important part of Philip's life. God continues to use and grow that gift in Philip. He ministers in many venues in the diocese, including various parish activities, the Life Teen Program at Christ the King, Rachel Vineyard Retreats, diocesan youth rallies, March for Life, and for the last 3 years, at the annual Diocesan Eucharistic Congress. He and his wife are founding members of Families Following Christ where Philip helps lead worship and adoration on a regular basis. Charismatic prayer is an integral part of Philip’s spiritual background and he looks forward to helping with the Catholic Charismatic Conference.

Peter Herbeck is the vice president and director of missions for Renewal Ministries. For more than thirty years, he has been actively involved in evangelization and Catholic renewal throughout the US, Canada, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Peter is a co-host for the weekly television programs The Choices We Face and Crossing the Goal. He also hosts the daily radio show Fire on the Earth. He is a frequent conference speaker, has authored When the Spirit Comes in Power and When the Spirit Speaks, and has produced CDs and booklets about discipleship and life in the Spirit. Peter is involved with i.d.9:16, an outreach to Catholic young adults sponsored by Renewal Ministries. Peter and his wife Debbie have four children and six grandchildren (with one on the way), and reside in Ann Arbor, Michigan. pherbeck@renewalministries.net

Jean has been active in the Charismatic Renewal since 1974. She serves as a Pastoral Leader to the People of Praise Prayer Group in Gainesville, Fl. She has led an intercessory prayer group for the past 25 years. She is a published Christian writer and believes the Holy Spirit is calling her to lift up the name of Jesus through her publications.  
  She also serves in prison ministry.

Her desire is that all come to know Christ and receive His gift of salvation.Since 1998, she has served as a short term missionary, team leader, and teacher, to Eastern Europe,often with Renewal Ministries. She teaches and ministers extensively on healing prayer and life in Christ. Since 2014, she has been sought to teach Priests, Seminarians, Religious, and Catholic leaders in Slovakia and the Czech Republic on healing prayer, primarily inner healing and deliverance. She is active as a conference speaker, retreat leader, seminar leader, and teacher nationally and internationally. Mary is a certified Spiritual Director (2012) through The Cenacle of Our Lady of Divine Providence School of Spirituality in affiliation with Franciscan University. She serves as Director of Healing Prayer at her local parish.

Rev. Rafael S. Lavilla, Jr., O.S.J.
Rev. Lavilla was ordained in 2005 and is a member of the Congregation of the Oblates of St. Joseph. He was educated in the Philippines and graduated from St. Francis De Sales Regional College Seminary Lipa City Batangas Philippines. He ministered extensively in the Phillipines and California. Currently, Father serves at Blessed Trinity Parish, Jacksonville and as Spiritual Director of the Filipino Ministry for the Diocese of St. Augustine. He is also a Presbyteral Council Member of the Diocese of St. Augustine, FL and serves on the boards of the Diocesan Pastoral Council and Catholic Charities of Jacksonville.

Fr. John has been a Priest in the St. Augustine Diocese since his ordination in 1987. He was first assigned as Associate Pastor at Christ the King Parish in Jacksonville and in 1990 was transferred to St. Augustine Student Center. He serves as Pastor at Holy Faith Parish in Gainesville (2002-Present).

Fr. John began his Christian journey as a teenager. In about 1971, he experienced a deeper conversion in the Holy Spirit and began attending the Catholic Charismatic Prayer Group in 1976. In 1978, he converted from Protestantism to Catholicism and in 1982 entered St. Vincent De Paul Seminary.
  Fr. John’s serves to assist all in their journey of Love in the Lord. His desire for Holy Faith Parish is that it become a community of compassion, where all meet the loving Heart of Jesus. He is a gifted speaker and has an inspiring testimony of God’s love and healing in his life.

2021 Catholic Holy Spirit Healing Conference
January 22-23

Dr. Ralph Martin, Director of Renewal Ministries will be Keynote speaker.

Ralph also is the director of Graduate Theology Programs in Evangelization and a professor of theology at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in the Archdiocese of Detroit (www.shms.edu). He holds a doctorate in theology from the Angelicum University in Rome.

Pope Benedict XVI appointed Ralph as a consultor to the Pontifical Council for the New Evangelization, and he continues to serve in this capacity. Ralph also was appointed as a theological expert for the Synod on the New Evangelization.

He is the author of the widely read The Fulfillment of All Desire: A Guidebook for the Journey to God Based on the Wisdom of the Saints, and many books on spirituality and evangelization, such as Will Many Be Saved? What Vatican II Actually Teaches and Its Implications for the New Evangelization, and The Urgency of the New Evangelization, as well as many scholarly articles.
