Ordained in 1960 in Rome for the Archdiocese of Baltimore where he served as Assistant Pastor and Pastor in a number of parishes. He was a professor and principal of a seminary preparatory program. He served as a missionary in Peru for 12 years. He was named a Prelate of Honor (Monsignor) in 1995. He served on the Catholic Charities Board, College of Consultors and the Presbyterial Council. He was Director of Pilgrimages and the Director of the Propagation of the Faith Office. He also coordinated visits to Haiti and the Archdiocese.
In Memorium: Msgr. Harold Jordan
Msgr. Harold Jordan, served as our faithful Liaison to the Charismatic Renewal for the Diocese of St. Augustine. He went to be with his Lord on December 28, 2007.
Ordained in 1949, Msgr. Jordan served the Diocese as a Pastor in many areas of Florida and as director of several Diocesan Apostolates, most recently the Director of the Mission of Nombre de Dios. He founded the Nombre de Dios House of Prayer in St. Augustine. In 2005 the House of Prayer was renamed the St. Augustine House of Prayer and Evangelization Center. He served as the Spiritual Director. He was the Liaison for the Charismatic Renewal since 1976.
